This tri-yearly newsletter is for dance teachers and offers valuable insights for teaching young students. In each issue you will find a short article with interesting facts or helpful hints for teaching dance to children.
Hello Teaching-Dance friends;
Because you may have previously purchased my Teaching Dance lesson plans, either the complete Kit or single class techniques, you will be as excited as I am about the new CD’s which complements the updated written dance plans, (as of May 2008). Of course each piano based CD is useable without my notes as an accompaniment your own choreography. There are several CD options you will be interested in.
The complete re-written technique plans for the six programs from Pre-Dance Ballet Kit #1 or Kit #2 offered by Teaching Dance now are paired musically on one CD with a different composer for each program.
For the Beginning Ballet Technique Class #1, from Volumes 2 & 6, a CD was created with shortened music for a single pre-dance class and extended musical version for the beginning class dance lesson plans. The music is composed by Robert Schumann.
Most sought after CD’s - this music is arranged containing long bands, averaging 5 minutes in length,
for continuous across the floor time with your advancing classes. There are two CD’s available:
Waltzes Only #1 - this over 55 minute CD, has eleven favorite waltz classics such as: Le Soupir Grande Valse by Camille Schubert, Danse Espangole by Joseph Ascher, Valse Des Fleurs by Eugene Ketterer - to name a few.
4/4, 2/4, & 6/8 #1 - a 45 minute CD, offers eleven wonderful composers as: Alexander Boely, George Pinto, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Henri Hertz, and more.
